Schedule a session for your dog on our Dog Pacer Treadmill, a treadmill designed specially for dogs! This staff-monitored activity is a great way to supplement daycare play. We tailor the session to the fitness level of your dog by adjusting the speed and duration sure to be the most productive and fun! Rest assured that, as with any new activity, we will introduce your dog slowly and appropriately to ensure a positive experience.
Treadmill time is offered as an add-on service to a regular day of daycare and can provide many benefits, such as:
1. Increases overall endurance and muscle tone
2. Can help to alleviate anxiety and relieve stress
3. Offers mental stimulation by requiring concentration and coordination that is different from group play
4. Gives working breeds a "job" to do - working breeds were bred with an innate desire to focus on specific activities
5. Build confidence in a more timid dog - as they master the training and are rewarded generously
Individual Enrichment Time
Dogs are smart! They endlessly seek ways to communicate and win the favor of their humans. They want to learn, be challenged, and have the satisfaction of knowing they did a good job. Enrichment activities, combined with daycare play, targets the emotional, social, and physical well-being of your pup. Dogs that have an outlet for physical energy through daycare, and engage in mentally stimulating activities are less likely to exhibit destructive behaviors due to boredom.
Personalized enrichment activities will challenge your dog to think, problem solve, and stay mentally active. The individual attention from staff will help to reinforce social manners and basic obedience as well. Individual Enrichment Time is offered in 15-minute sessions as an add-on service to a regular day of daycare.
Rest Time Treat
Your dog can enjoy a mid-day treat during their rest time. Kongs filled with a frozen pumpkin and peanut butter mixture are not only delicious but also provide mental stimulation. This work-to-eat treat will satisfy your pups hardwired desire to work for their food!

Your pets deserve the best
We are a locally owned dog care facility located in Rochester, New York. Our facility consists of 5,500 square feet of three interior playrooms with hygienic rubber flooring and climbing structures as well as 2,000 square feet of secure outdoor play area with “K9 Grass” (not mud).
We treat every dog as if they were our own, making it easy for you to leave them in our care. Our social events bring together a community of dog lovers where owners and pets build bonds that last a lifetime!
We love to welcome new pack members! There are a few things to do to get started. Be sure your pup has the required vaccinations. We require Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. Dogs recently adopted must be in home for two weeks prior to coming to daycare or boarding and show no signs of coughing, sneezing, or any other symptoms of illness. All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered. Finally, fill out our application and give us a call to schedule your Orientation Day any weekday between 7 – 10 am.
It’s important to note that we only allow a limited number of orientations in one day to be able to give your pup our full attention.
Depending on what time your pup arrives for the day or if they stay overnight, below is a pretty typical day.
6:30 am Rise and shine! Breakfast and potty time.
7:00 am Wags opens and day care friends begin to arrive.
9:00 am Group exercises and open playtime.
11:30 am Lunches are prepared.
12:00 pm Quiet play or nap time.
1:00 pm Group playtime resumes.
4:30 pm End of day routine begins. Day care friends begin leaving.
5:00 pm Dinners prepared and served.
6:00 pm Evening chill time with overnight guests.
9:30 pm Night Night! Bedtime treats and snuggles.
